Solution of motor self-tuning fault

Fault Name:

Motor self-tuning fault.

Fault Symptom: 

AC200T frequency inverter reports E.TEL during the static self-tuning.

Causes:

Wrong settings of the motor parameters

The power level of the factory control board is not set, the frequency inverter is 22KW, and the power level of the control board is 2.2KW

Solutions: 

Check the motor nameplate and correctly set the parameters of F5.01-F5.06;
Set the frequency inverter power level correctly.

Analysis:

After it reports E.TEL during the static self-tuning, check the F5.07 motor no-load current is only 1.3A. Under normal conditions, the no-load current of the 22KW motor should be around 13A, apparently, it’s a large difference. In static self-tuning, if the power level is set incorrectly, the frequency inverter will report E.TE1 and FA.39 is 2066, so before self-tuning, in addition to correctly input the nameplate parameters of the controlled asynchronous motor [F5.01~F5. 06], it is very important to correctly set the power level of the frequency inverter.
