Solution of OL2 while running fault

Fault Name: 

OL2

Fault Symptom: 

The frequency inverter reports OL2 while running.

Causes:

The customer's motor is 6 poles 55KW, and the motor is replaced by 4 poles 55KW.

Solution:

Replace the original motor with the same power and the same number of poles.
Amplify the power

Analysis:

Check if the inverter output voltage is balanced (maintenance inverter).

Check if the inverter output shows the same current as the actual current. (If the current ratio is changed differently)

Increase the torque boost function appropriately if it reports OL2 when starting at low frequency.

Set proper acceleration and deceleration time of the frequency inverter.

The load torque is greater than the rated output torque of the inverter. (Replace the inverter).
