- Solution of SD600E servo drive er.031 fault
Fault Name:
Er.031 is reported on SD600E servo drive.
Fault Symptom:
Er.031 is reported on SD600E servo drive that causes the machine not to function properly.
Causes:
The servo speed processing circuit is invalid or the system detects that the difference between the command speed and the actual speed exceeds the stall protection value.
Solutions:
Determine which status the servo drive will report fault (power on, start, run)
If the servo drive alarms on power-up, please check the control board speed signal processing circuit or replace the control board
If the servo drive alarms when starting:
Check whether the motor line U\V\W phase sequence is reversed;
Check whether the load inertia is too large and servo inertia selection is too small;
Encoder zero position is wrong; d. Modify the servo speed protect parameters to reduce speed protection sensitivity, or turn off coaster protection directly.
If the servo drive alarms during servo operation:
Check whether the rate of change of external input pulse is too large;
Check whether the electronic gear ratio setting is too large, causing the command speed to change too quickly;
Check whether the Servo System operation is stable and whether there is overshoot;
Modify the servo coaster protection parameters to reduce the sensitivity of the coaster protection, or directly turn off the coaster protection;
Check whether the load inertia is too large or the servo inertia selection is too small.
Analysis:
Coaster fault is caused by the fact that the system detects that the difference between the actual speed and the command speed of the motor exceeds the protection range of the coaster and the alarm occurs. This is a failure that the CPU issues after the software calculates and processes it.
In the stop state, the command speed and feedback speed are zero. If the alarm occurs at this time, there is a problem with the control board CPU (there is less possibility for this problem)
If the servo drive alarms when starting, after turning off the coaster protection function, the servo drive running speed is not controlled thereby over-speed occurs. It is very likely that the phase sequence of the motor is reversed or the angle of the encoder installation is incorrect. The servo operation alarm occurs.
If the servo alarms during the servo operation and then turn off the coaster protection function. Then it is necessary to determine whether a serious over-speed phenomenon occurs and the control accuracy in the position mode is not high. These are caused by insufficient servo
The rate of change of the external input pulse is too fast, the servo response speed cannot keep up, resulting in excessive position deviation thereby affecting the control accuracy.
The setting of the electronic gear ratio is too large. The change of the external pulse speed will cause the command speed to change too quickly and the servo response speed will not keep up, resulting in excessive position deviation.
The servo system is unstable, resulting in excessive position deviation and affecting the control accuracy.
The load inertia is too high, causing the motor to over-speed and affecting the control accuracy.
